Da Nang – Hoi An – Hue 3-Day Tour | Marble Mountain, Coconut Forest, Hue Citadel & Linh Ung Pagoda

Morning: Flight to Da Nang from Ha Noi/ Ho Chi Minh or other countries

Arrival in Da Nang Airport, welcome and transfer to hotel for check-in if room is available.

Afternoon: The driver will pick you up at the hotel lobby, then depart for Marble Mountain, the place known as the pearl of the city, where you will be admire the view of Da Nang City, and visit the Xa Loi Tower, Linh Ung Pagoda, Tang Chon Cave, Non Nuoc stone carving village

After visit Marble Mountain, depart for Bay Mau Coconut Palm Forest

Move by basket and go along the Thu Bon River for reaching to Bay Mau Coconut Palm Forest to admire the scenery both sides of the river and the local people’s living activities. 

Then starting the journey to explore the Bay Mau Coconut Palm Forest: learn how to row the basket boat, fishing crab, how to throw the net for catching fishes, how to make the hat, grasshopper, rings ect. by coconut leaves and save all memories with these green beauty of coconut forest Cam Thanh.

You will be seen the fantastic performances shake basket boat and throw the net for fishing.

Evening: Dinner at the restaurant (self-pay)

Departure walking admire Hoi An Ancient Town – Cultural heritage with many famous architecture as: 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, cultural museum Sa Huynh, old house…

Take a walk to see beauty ancient town near by Hoai river and shopping.

Return to the hotel in Da Nang. Overnight in Da Nang

Morning: Have breakfast at your hotel.

Our driver will pick you up at your hotel in Da Nang city. We start the Hue City Tour from Da Nang. On the way to Hue, our driver will go through Hai Van Tunnel – the longest tunnel in Southeast Asia at 6.28km (not Hai Van Pass).

The next place in the Hue tour from Da Nang, we will stop at Lap An lagoon with nice views of the brackish water lagoon, the place where local fishermen plant oysters. There is a cafeteria there with a lagoon view and you also can taste the best Vietnamese coffee (self-pay)

We reach Hue city. 

As you know, all the emperors of the Nguyen dynasty thought that this life was just a temporary life. When you pass away, you will live a real life. So what you need in this life, you would need in the after-life. So the first thing they did when they first came to the throne was to order the Feng Shui tellers to find the perfect Feng Shui places to build the tombs. Please remember it, everything inside the tombs has never been used in the past, only for their afterlife.

The first place is the Khai Dinh Tomb. We will visit the most beautiful and expensive royal tomb of the 12th emperor, the Khai Dinh Tomb. Not following traditional architecture, Khai Dinh Tomb is a mixture of Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity, French, and Vietnamese architecture.

You will say twice WOW, WOW because it is such a fabulous tomb and the most beautiful tomb in the world. At the Khai Dinh tomb, you can take some great photos and practice your photography skills.

Noon: Lunch at the restaurant (self-pay)

Afternoon: Continue to the 17th-century working Buddhist monastery of Thien Mu Pagoda, considered by many to be the unofficial symbol of the city.

After that, we will visit the Hue Citadel. Hue was the capital city of the Nguyen Dynasty of Vietnam from 1802- 1945. Our guide will tell you some valuable information about the royal lives of Emperors, concubines, and eunuchs. It is a complex including 3 sections: The citadel (Protecting area); Royal city (The working area of the Emperor, civil servants, and military servants); The Forbidden City (The private area of the emperor, his concubines, and eunuchs).

Return to the hotel in Da Nang. Overnight in Da Nang

Morning: Have breakfast at your hotel. Check-out the hotel

The driver will pick up at location appointment in Da Nang city. Moving to explore Son Tra Peninsula (Monkey Mountain) – 10km northeast of the center of Da Nang City, is a screen to shield wind storms for Da Nang City. Here, you will enjoy the panoramic view of Da Nang City and take some pictures, visit Linh Ung Pagoda, admire the 67m tallest Bodhisattva Buddha statue in Vietnam.

After visiting Linh Ung Pagoda, the driver will take you to Han Market for shopping. On the way, you will visit Dragon Bridge.

Noon: Lunch at the restaurant (self-pay)

Afternoon: The driver pick you up and transfer to the airport for your flight to Ha Noi/ Ho Chi Minh or other countries
